Rosenort Agro was started by Levi Brandt in the late 1940's as a fuel and oil company. By the 1960's, Levi expanded his business with bagged fertilizer which eventually changed to bulk fertilizer and crop protection products. In 1978, Levi's sons Chuck and Rudy entered into partnership with their father eventually taking ownership. Liquid floaters were purchased that same year to apply liquid fertilizer and pre-emerge chemicals. This started the custom application venture that is so important to our company today. Throughout the 80's and 90's, the Brandt's steadily grew the core businesses while expanding into anhydrous ammonia, agronomy, selling seed. During this time, significant investments were made in the dry fertilizer facility and high clearance sprayers. In 2003, Denis Benjamin joined Rosenort Agro as General Manager. Myron Kroeker joined Rosenort Agro in 1996, took a brief education sabbatical, and rejoined the company in 2005 as the agronomist. By 2006 Rosenort Agro entered into a Joint Venture with Agrico and have continued to strengthen the business with the strong foundation started by Levi, continued by his sons and those who follow to this day.

Today, many of the same traits that Levi founded his business on are essential to the success of ourselves and our customers. We continue to invest in our company to ensure a consistent level of quality is met while keeping the needs of today's farmers as a priority. For example, we installed a soybean seed treater in 2017. We have created a retail that truly is a full service retail capable of serving our customers to the highest standard.
